The desire to keep up the impetus and not stop there is what makes the best of the crowd stand out. Likewise, my university is always striving for the best. Al-Farabi Kazakh National University knows how to deliver goals for further development. KazNU aims to become a world-class research university and enter the global ranking of the top 100 best universities. This was stated by the Rector, Academician Galym Mutanov during the annual reporting meeting with the population. To achieve this goal, several international innovation projects have been proposed.

Any goal must be broken down into small steps for the successful result. They will become a kind of "building blocks" on which it is easier to walk towards the final result. This focus on successive stages helps to overcome even the most difficult path. Here are some steps to help the university achieve this goal. The scientific and technical field "Al-Farabi" is being created on the basis of public-private partnership by attracting foreign investment. 

The first step in the creation of STA on the territory of the KazNU campus will be the launch of the International IT cluster "Alliance of New Silk Road Universities", which unites more than 130 leading universities around the world. It is based on the Silicon Valley IT technopark and a supercomputer provided to KazNU under a grant from the Chinese government. Important components of the "valley" are a medical-biological cluster with a modern clinic and research laboratory, as well as an innovative cluster that combines scientific areas such as nanotechnology and new materials, nuclear, space and telecommunications technologies, robotics, interdisciplinary humanitarian research.

KazNU is developing and implementing a model of self-development of a new generation of universities "University 4.0". It is aimed at the formation of citizens of the country and the world, who are responsible not only for themselves, but also for the fate of all mankind, with high spiritual and moral values.

Through 10 Al-Farabi educational centers in foreign universities and Al-Farabi museums in Delhi and Istanbul, foreigners have the opportunity to learn the Kazakh language, culture and traditions of the Kazakh people, to get acquainted with the achievements of Kazakhstan. In the near future, the number of such centers in different countries will increase to 20.

The infrastructure of the KazNU campus has grown by about 50% over the past five years. This year, on the basis of public-private partnership, the construction of a dormitory for 1,250 places has begun. The university was the first in the country to moocs.kz. launched mass open online courses on the platform.

KazNU in cooperation with the "National Center for Complex Processing of Mineral Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan" and in 2019 opened a specialized department "Technology of metals and minerals" at the University Center.

Also, KazNU decided to create an anti-corruption scientific-educational cluster against all forms of corruption, together with the Republican Project Council "Conscious Generation". Following the meeting, the received proposals will be considered and the solution of a number of issues raised is under the control of the university administration.

This is how the goal of our universities becomes meaningful, endowed with great value. And then the application of any effort is no longer perceived as a super task. Striving for a better life increases the efficiency of any activity. A person himself wants to improve his qualifications, learns himself, increases his skills and abilities. Achieving this goal depends on us, the future generation. We, the youth of our country, must work and study hard to enter the top 100 universities in the world.
